Fantastic Painter Artist

This little film was shot Feb 19th - the background noise are our friends Charlie and Leo playing in the next room. The boy is explaining what a "Fantastic Painter Artist" is as he works on a painting.

He is especially impressed with Mommy's artistic abilities because "she can make stars" - Me Too.

Charles River Gosslings

As part of our stay-cation we headed down to the river with Mommy to meet some of the newest residents of Cambridge - the baby gosslings. We found three different families with about a half dozen little ones each.... We brought them some bread crumbs and the boy was VERY good about not chasing the mommas and babies.

Birthday Photos

these poor shots will have to keep you satisfied until I get copies of the photos that Grandpa Phil took. But until then here are some views of our rained in birthday boy and co. Since it was POURING and thundering we cancelled our planned playdate in the park and just pared down to family and the og playgroup kids in our apt. Gabe, Jack (also a birthday boy today) and Harriet joined us along with the Granparents N. and DGina Farah and Dori. We valiantly did our best to drink a couple dozen juice boxes and eat 4 bags of pretzels and chips. We got some good BBQ sandwiches from Coast Cafe and Mommy brought 20 special cookies from the cafe by her work.



Present opening time was a HUGE hit.

Building a SkyScraper

This is what monito gets up to after repeated viewings of B-O-B the builder. He calls it building a skyscraper - it consists of piling everything up that he can find
-0 Recycling
-0 diaper bag contents
-0 pens, pencils from desk
-0 Various toys
and yes even a pair of his underwear

All of these are stacked up behind my back as I sit at the no longer as comfortable as it once was Aero Type chair.

I guess I should be celebrating his artistic & engineering abilities.

Shabbat Farah

This shabbat the lil' monkey & I did something that we hadn't tried before....

Yup we baked ourselves a Challah. He helped out with the kneading and did a great job with the egg wash. Sadly our yeast was from about 2004 so the bread was on the dense side - but all in all it was a good first effort.

The best part of all was him running up to emily when she got home & bringing her into the kitchen & pointing into the oven saying "challah" to show her what he'd done

First Bike Ride

Emily got a bike seat from Lori, and a new rack to fit it on and a cute yellow chicken helmet & finally took the boy out on his first ever bike ride (I couldn't look). After screaming because he had a helmet on his head, he adjusted and by all acounts had a great time. Now we just need to get my police auction bike working and we can do a family ride down Memorial drive on a sunday when the road is closed.
